As the brackets increasingly narrow to a field between the late ’80s and early ’00s, I’m reconsidering the guidelines. Of course I won’t change anything now, but if I were to do this again, I think I’d put in a … Continue reading Best Worst Movies Tournament: Round Three
Thirty-two films didn’t make it out of round one, but the remaining entries represent a leaner, meaner kind of bad. Closest bracket: Bubble Boy (2001) vs. Hudson Hawk (1991), 19-18. Biggest blowout: Con Air (1997) vs. Battlefield Earth (2000), 57-17. … Continue reading Best Worst Movies Tournament: Round Two
It was 2012 and Psy’s “Gangnam Style” became the surprise viral hit of the summer. I got barraged with this Gangnam Style video and people talking about it. It seemed at the time that that video and the dance from … Continue reading WTF ASIA 1: Funky Forest – First Contact (2005)
Perhaps it doesn’t mean much since it’s only April, but I see a fair amount of movies and You Were Never Really Here is my favorite movie I’ve seen in 2018 so far. It’s hard to really describe the plot, … Continue reading Movie Review: You Were Never Really Here
