I’m currently sitting next to an egg timer that will tell me when to take my pizza out of the oven (it’s Monday night), so let’s see how much I can cram into 7 minutes.

Infinity War continued to make huge amounts of money, even with a 56% drop off its first week. One-time Iron Man distributor Paramount was left to weep (quietly) into box office receipts for A Quiet Place, which has now taken in $160M on a $17M budget. Second place went to the Overboard remake, which got a C back in the old country, where Katie Rife asked the immortal question, “Why this remake, of all remakes?”

Tully was the next-highest new opener, landing at sixth with $3.3M on 1,350 screens. (Rampage took in just under a million and a half dollars more in its fourth weekend.) Bad Samaritan opened at #11 on 2,000 screens, and RGB and 102 Not Out opened at 15th and 16th, respectively, in limited release.

Somehow, Super Troopers 2 managed to lose 7 theaters – no more, no less – in its third week, and made $1.9M for ninth place. Annnnd pizza’s done!
