A Mother’s love is a powerful thing. Driven by concern for their children they will do quite extraordinary things: sit by their bedside all through the night, cradle them in their arms for hours when they have nightmares, forfeit their own lives to protect them. Truly extraordinary.
This Mother knew what would be waiting for him when he went to his room that night. He had no thought of fighting it. It was Fate. The murderers, of course, tried to make a deal.
“See here, I’ll spare you if you promise to be our mother.” What? Are you surprised? Well, even Adults need a Mother’s love every now and then.
But this Mother hated the treacherous Adults that had caused the Lost Children so much grief. No words of mine can tell you how Mother despised those Adults.
“I refuse! I would rather die!”
The menacing figures snarled and quickly tied her up, carrying her out of the home under the ground while the others slept. They put Mother on a little boat and shoved it into Crocodile Creek. The ticking grew louder as the beast approached the boat. It was not eager to eat the Mother, but it was driven by an animal hunger. It swallowed its snack quickly and without a sound, but the fairies who were watching from their trees later swore that they saw a single tear fall from the Crocodile’s eye.
The next morning, the Lost Children were horrified to find Mother gone. A note was resting on the pillow.
Silence all, for a mother’s lost words to their children:
“These are my last words, dear children. I feel that I have a message to you from your real mothers, and it is this: ‘We hope our children will fight to the end like proud English men and women.’”

A word of caution: It is quite impossible to say how time does wear on in the Neverland, where it is calculated by moons and suns, and there are ever so many more of them than on the mainland. Some days might be shorter than others, and because of Peter’s strong imagination things that were impossible before have now become possible. I would not be a bit surprised if one of the Lost Children woke up one morning to find that they have grown up!
The rules are fairly simple. Which is why your narrator is not repeating them anymore. See previous days for the unabridged rules.
Please note that you will need to make a handful of game-related comments per Day (three to six at least). Your humble narrator has been told that Peter feels very sad and angry when people don’t play, so you will become the Crocodile’s lunch if you don’t participate. Roleplaying is encouraged but not required.
NO EDITING OR DELETING for any reason, including typos.
Directly quoting or screenshotting QT is not allowed.
Remember to have fun! This is a game of murder, but it is still just a game. 🙂
