Follow the Leader was one of the Lost Children’s favorite games to play, but this time it had gotten them into quite a bit of trouble. Each of them was filled with regret and shame as they headed back to their home under the ground. Tinker Bell was gone, that was good for them. They could still win the game and show Peter just how clever they were. But they still had three Adults hiding in plain sight. No one said a word for the rest of the night. They all had trouble sleeping, but one of them was especially restless.
Pippin Velour had felt like the king of the castle just a few hours ago. Now he felt quite low. Where had he gone wrong? What miscalculation had he made? He was far too rich and sophisticated to be making errors like this. Not able to sleep, he decided to go for a walk and review everything. He soon found himself deep in the woods. Twinkling lights surrounded him on every side. The fairies were holding a grand funeral for Tinker Bell. They played a mournful tune, but it was barely audible to human ears.
Pippin leaned against a tree to listen and found his thoughts wandering to Baby Big Time Legit. Why couldn’t this game be finished with already? He wanted to find Baby Big Time Legit and rescue him from the Quail army, but that was never going to happen if they didn’t get these stupid Adults out of Neverland. Then, suddenly, he had a surge of confidence.
He clenched his fists and shouted into the night, “Justice will yet be mine!”
Of course, Pippin was mistaken. Justice was not so easy to come by, a fact that the Adults knew all too well. While Pippin was musing by his tree, three devious figures had whispered something quite nasty to the fairies who were dancing nearby.
“You know, it was Pippin’s fault that Tink was killed…”
That was all they needed to say. In a flash of blinding light Pippin was carried off into the sky. It appeared as though he was being carried by a huge swarm of light, but it was actually hundreds of fairies carrying him to his doom. The last thing Pippin heard was the terrible tick-tock of the Crocodile.
Pippin Velour is dead. He was a LOST CHILD (TOWN).
14 5 Lost Children (Vanilla Town)
1 Mother (Town Jailkeeper)
1 Inspector (Town Cop)
4 3 Adults (Vanilla Wolves)
1 Tinker Bell (Serial Killer)
A word of caution: It is quite impossible to say how time does wear on in the Neverland, where it is calculated by moons and suns, and there are ever so many more of them than on the mainland. Some days might be shorter than others, and because of Peter’s strong imagination things that were impossible before have now become possible. I would not be a bit surprised if one of the Lost Children woke up one morning to find that they have grown up!
The rules are fairly simple. Which is why your narrator is not repeating them anymore. See previous days for the unabridged rules.
Please note that you will need to make a handful of game-related comments per Day (three to six at least). Your humble narrator has been told that Peter feels very sad and angry when people don’t play, so you will become the Crocodile’s lunch if you don’t participate. Roleplaying is encouraged but not required.

Remember to have fun! This is a game of murder, but it is still just a game. 🙂
