I’m doing this late, so I’ll throw it together quickly: A Quiet Place opened strong – $50M against a reported budget of $17M. Blockers, opening in third, didn’t do half-badly either – $20.6M with a budget of $21M. Ready Player One fell 41% to second place, while Black Panther overtook Titanic for all-time third. Entertainment Pictures’ Chappaquiddick opened in seventh with a $5.8M take.

Also, I was the person who brought popcorn to A Quiet Place. Sorry. I realized my mistake, but I’d already paid for the popcorn at that point.
