So, here we are again: on the cusp of another government shutdown (has it only been a month?  A few weeks?), and crisis has been averted!

….for another few weeks.  I’d say “fool me once, shame on me” but it’s not even worth the effort to point it out now, is it?   This is the government of the United States; no longer a bug, it’s a feature.
