Rodney Dangerfield invented the Triple Lindy dive but it was performed by an obvious stunt double in the film Back to School, which is most well-known as a vehicle for Kurt Vonnegut to stick it to the American money machine.

 

The Triple Lindy was also performed in the video for “In Too Deep” by Sum 41, though it still remains unknown if the homage was the final act of disrespect towards Dangerfield and he succumbed to the affliction.
