The Royal Rumble Match is an any-thing goes battle royale that is the first PPV on the Road to WrestleMania.

Wrestlers enter the ring in intervals of 60 or 90 seconds (it varies from match to match).

Elimination occurs when a person is thrown over the top rope and they land outside of the ring, both feet hitting the ground.

A total of 30 wrestlers have the opportunity to punch their ticket to the main event of WrestleMania.

In 1992, the winner of the Royal Rumble would receive the WWF Heavyweight Championship.

The championship was up for grabs after Hulk Hogan was stripped of the title after two controversial match finishes against the Undertaker.

Ric flair would enter the match at #3 and end up winning the match and the WWF Title!
