The crowd began eating their gold-flaked popcorn as the children gathered together to play the death game. Saki was placed on the grid field, while Tina was on the round field. The game began and the huge sphere dropped into the circle. Tina did her best to elbow and succeeded in killing one of their enemies in the first round.
The second round began, and the enemy team worked harder to push the sphere in a slot as soon as possible. The sphere went in and the grid competitors sprinted to get to safety. Well, most of them.
Saki simply read her book as the flames began to light up around her. She put up three fingers and whistled some notes. It seemed really symbolic, but nobody in the crowd seemed to understand it and simply cheered while drinking caviar and wagyu cocktails. The burning high schooler flesh worked better with savory cocktails.
Saki Hanajima/Jam is dead. She was an Athlete (Vanilla Town).
Jude managed to survive to the final round, where the first kid blasted himself to death first. Miumina High had won, but Tina was frankly a bit put off sports for a few hours.
The team went home, preparing themselves for the inevitable stress disorders. Subaru walked across the midnight street. A stranger shouted at him, “SUBARU!”
Subaru stopped, wondering who this person was. It became evident moments later that they were not saying his name, but the make of the truck which was rocketing down the street and right into him. He would wake up in another world with frankly completely broken abilities, but to this world, he was dead.
Subaru Suzuki/subsaharan is dead. He was an Athlete (Vanilla Town).
The team woke up the next morning to the news. Another truck had struck another high school student. It had truly become an epidemic.
They gathered in the locker room once more, and learned about their new sport.
