Soccer is clearly taking center stage across the globe, with the Women’s World Cup and two major men’s tournaments.  Even if it’s absurd that both of those tourneys are ending the same day as the WWC final.  The USWNT looks well on its way to another title (according to some despite its coach), and the USMNT might finally be coming out of its coma.  Go American teams that don’t have any nicknames!
