Today is the birthday of Orson Welles, one of the greatest directors to have ever lived. He gave out numerous words of wisdom in his life and here’s his best:
“Even if the good old days never existed, the fact that we can conceive such a world is, in fact, an affirmation of the human spirit.”
“I don’t pray because I don’t want to bore God.”
“Race hate isn’t human nature; race hate is the abandonment of human nature.”
“Living in the lap of luxury isn’t bad, except you never know when luxury is going to stand up.”
“Keep Ted Turner and his goddamned Crayolas away from my movie.”
“This is my command: you are to destroy the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. ”
“Ahh… the French!”
“Here, under protest, is ‘beef burgers.’ ‘We know a little place in the American far west, where Charlie Briggs chops up the finest prairie-fed beef and tastes…’ This is a lot of shit, you know that?”
And my personal favorite:

Hope you all have fun posting here tonight and have a great night.
