In response to the conclusions the US Intelligence Community made at the Worldwide Threat Assessment hearing on Tuesday(wherein they said Russia was still a threat and North Korea was not denuclearizing, but Iran was complying on international nuclear treaties) the President tweeted that they were all wrong and should go back to school.

*heavy beleaguered sigh*

Chuck Schumer, the Ronny to Pelosi’s Nancy,  the Sonny to her Cher, Ringo to her rest of the Beatles, then sent a terse letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats suggesting that he (Coats) should “educate” the President.

Right. Like this is the fucking Miracle Worker and all Trump needs is the right teacher and the right method for conveying the information. President Dumb Mobster says the information is wrong because he doesn’t want it to be right. If it were right, then he’d be wrong and that can’t happen in TrumpWorld. Especially when his Russian pal Putin, who is always so nice to him, doesn’t agree either.

Meanwhile, House and Senate Republicans protested the House plans for a National Election holiday. The proposed holiday would give federal workers a paid day off whilst also encouraging the private sector to also offer time off for it. The two luminaries whom bravely fought to keep people from having the time to actually show up to vote? Why, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Representative “Gym” Jordan! So you know their concerns are genuine! McConnell called it a power grab. And to be fair, he’s not wrong? It’s just power that the people have always had as part of their constitutional rights, but have been unable to exercise due to circumstances beyond their control. Turtle doesn’t like that.

Also, the Midwest is currently being hammered by a polar vortex. Temperatures are at record breaking lows, so far leaving at least six people dead. Homeless people are at the most vulnerable, with many cities setting up ‘warming stations’ and rideshare services such as Lyft offering free rides to keep people out of the life-threatening cold. Some dipshit, probably the President, will say some shit about ‘what Global Warming?’ after all of this human tragedy has subsided.
