Jeopardy! recap for Wed., Jun. 27 – Here are today’s contestants:

Scott had a net loss of $1,000 on the two DDs he found, but that didn’t stop him from holding first place into FJ with $15,800 vs. $13,000 for Andrew and $9,200 for Amy.

DD1 – CRAFTS & HOBBIES – Terms used in this craft include batting, binding and block of the month (Scott lost $2,000)

DD2 – 4-LETTER U.S. CITIES – It’s home to the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum and Hall of Fame (Amy won $2,200 on a true DD.)

DD3 (video) – POET-POURRI – This romantic poet who wrote “The World Is Too Much With Us” had a perfect last name for his profession (Scott won $1,000)

FJ – SPORTING EVENTS – This annual event first held in 1934 includes play in areas named Pink Dogwood, Flowering Peach & Azalea

Everyone was correct on this FJ which easily could have been a top-row clue, with Scott adding $10,201 to win with $26,001.

Amy bet $6,601 on FJ, but the better percentage play for her would have been a much smaller wager that would give her the victory in the event that everyone missed.

Triple Stumper of the day: No one could come up with the “Kid A” band that didn’t get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on the first try, Radiohead.

This day in Trebekistan: Alex seemed to blame Andrew’s low winning score on the previous show to his “nerves”, while the real culprits were everyone missing FJ and terrible wagering by his opponents.
