I’ve long heard about the infamous interview with Warren Beatty in-character as Dick Tracy. A few days ago, I decided to watch it and… what the fuck?

This was only made so Beatty could keep the rights to the Dick Tracy licence to make another movie that almost certainly happen. I had a feeling it’d be weird because of that but it’s even weirder than thought possible. Like, there’s a bizarre scene early on where Wendi McLendon-Covey and Mindy Sterling are ogling Beatty/Tracy, which just feels pathetic. We then learn that Tracy is over 100 years old!! And the orphan that he adopted is in his eighties!!! What the fuck?

Now that I’ve got this out of my system, I can go back to writing about different types of nonsense. Hope you all have fun posting here today and have a great day.
