It’s Fun To Stay At The NCAA (Football Thread): Week 3

We got some games! Thursday night was not so good for the ‘cuse, losing to Pitt. Friday Night Lights had Miami victorious over Wake Forest and Texas Tech over Houston in a close one. Oh, and Oregon really challenged themselves with an 84-0 (!) win over Portland State. Clearly, we should just hand the National Championship to them right now and skip all this. For our early games, Georgia and Ohio State shouldn’t have problems with Arkansas and Kent State, respectively, shouldn’t being the operative word. Who knows if Ohio State will drive their Ferrari like it’s an old lady’s Ford Focus and let the game get away. A matchup with Darth Carolina is making Clemson fans of us all today. Belichick vs Dabo, what a likeable matchup. NC State goes to Vanderbilt to round out the first wave. Later in the afternoon we get Florida State at Bama and USC taking on the pride of the Big Ten, Rutgers. Boy, that conference sure has to be happy they brought them aboard. Stanford and Duke go head to head in what is hilariously billed as an “ACC Conference Game,” and at 7 ET we get the big ones of the day. Florida vs Auburn: neither team is ranked, but that won’t dull the hoopla one bit. Michigan State goes to Notre Dame and LSU goes to Ole Miss, in a mad rush to get its conference games in before being yeeted from the SEC.
