Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! Season two of Love is Better the Second Time Around has started, and it’s already off to a great start. If you haven’t seen season one, I highly recommend it! The series title pretty much sums up the basic plot: two men reconnect through work after going separate ways in high school, and they get a second chance at having a relationship. But, of course, there are obstacles along the way. The acting is great, the characters are endearing and charming, it’s funny, it’s romantic, and it has just the right amount of drama and angst.
