Howdy, friends. I had big plans to write up a header about Art Cop Vandelay’s suggestion of the honey vultures, but I am finally on my long-awaited “Mrs Killsock is healthy enough to be home alone” vacation, and of all the things I remembered to pack, I forgot to pack the laptop power cord. Thankfully LumberGini pointed out that today is National Migratory Birds Day, so I thought I’d quickly post a few of those. Our first two birds migrate very, very far, our second two have among the shortest migration routes I was able to find while the laptop battery holds out. I have included their names with my usual citation links, so you can look up more info if you are so inclined. Next week, the mighty and indifferent European honey vulture. Have a good weekend and have fun posting. Remember, rest is not a reward.
