“We Check In to C.C.’s Spa and Resort”

Happy new year! I didn’t get much discussion time in last episode, but I have to admit, both last episode and this one went some really clever places and I enjoyed them a lot. It does seem like the Sea of Monsters story, with its more-straightforward plotting compared to the more-episodic Lightning Thief, works in the adaptation’s favor. And the changes to the story, like showing us more of Clarisse and Grover’s side of things, have been really compelling. What do you think?
