The votes are tallied and the results are in. Here are the winners of the First Annual1 AmeriCadoVision Song Contest!
In third place, we have California, represented by The Mamas & The Papas’ “California Dreamin’,” which won it’s final match against “Mississippi Goddam” by score of 15-8.
Coming in second place, it’s John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” representing the state of West Virginia.
Finally, the state with the best song, as voted by you the Avocado, is Georgia! Gladys Knight and the Pips’ “Midnight Train to Georgia” put together another impressive victory in the Championship match up, outscoring John Denver 16-8!
