This is another “Write it on Friday, schedule it for Saturday while I’m traveling, make a sacrifice to the WordPress Gods so it gets posted on time” NCAA Football Thread.
N.C. State let me down last week. UCF did not, so they get the header. I hope N.C. State can regroup against Virginia Tech, because UNC (Boo!) has a bye this week.
So after a comment in last week’s thread, I decided to start making sure I highlight games where at least one Avocado is a fan of one of the teams.
Here’s my list of schools so far in alphabetical order (with the user who roots for that school):
Alabama (Holly Jolly Giggle Fits)
Auburn (Joey)
Colorado (Joey)
N.C. State (Julia) (Go Wolfpack!)
Syracuse (Mr. Plow)
USC (Josh Ortiz)
I know there are more than that, but those are the ones I know off the top of my head. If you have a school (or two, like Joey) that you want to see among the highlighted games, let me know. I’m sure I’ll highlight some matchups that don’t involve anybody we have a vested interest in, though, because good football is good football.
Note that I’m only going to highlight the games that are on actual channels or on Peacock (so far they’re the only streaming service with exclusive games). So next week, when N.C. State-Campbell is on ESPN+, it won’t be on the list. (I’ll mention it in the header, of course, because I’m the one posting the thread.)
I’ve probably made it too complicated, but hey, if someone else wants to post this thread…
Oh, and I’m gonna try to list at least one game that starts at 10 PM or later for our West Coast Avocados who aren’t sick of football by then.

Pretty good slate of games this week. I’ll likely be checking in on Oregon-Penn State and Alabama-Georgia during breaks in the N.C. State game, even though I don’t really root for anybody in those games..
Also, if anyone is interested in taking over this thread, please tag me. Of course, if you enjoy header pictures of either N.C. State winning (Go Wolfpack!) or UNC (Boo!) getting blown out, I can keep doing these threads.
