NCAA Football – Week 3 (2025)

I’m writing this up in advance, because I will be spending my Saturday celebrating the birthday of Pa Krellis (his actual birthday was last Tuesday) and hanging out with my nephews. (They’re the best.)

Also, N.C. State already played Thursday night. (That’s where I got the header image from.) It started rough (giving up a kickoff return for a TD to start the game is not ideal), but they got their act together and ended up beating Wake Forest on the road (though it’s about an hour and 45 minute trip from Raleigh, so there was plenty of red in the stands), 34-24. Go Wolfpack!

Also, by sheer fluke, N.C. State-Wake Forest was the first ACC conference game of the season, so as I write this on Friday, N.C. State has sole possession of 1st place in the ACC. Look, when you root for a team that hasn’t won an ACC title since 1979(!), you take what you can get.

You probably only care about the Saturday games, though, so here are a few highlights for today (Once again, all times ET, because East Coast Bias is real):

Noon
Clemson at Georgia Tech, ESPN

3:30 PM
Georgia at Tennessee, ABC
Pitt at West Virginia, ESPN

7:00 PM
Arkansas at Ole Miss, ESPN

7:30 PM
Texas A&M at Notre Dame, NBC

Yeah, the pickings are pretty slim this week. I mean, Florida-LSU looked like it might be decent until Florida actually started playing games. And, of course, I will be rooting for Richmond to pull off a huge upset this week.

Also, if anyone is interested in taking over this thread, please tag me. Of course, if you enjoy header pictures of either N.C. State winning (Go Wolfpack!) or UNC (Boo!) getting blown out, I can keep doing these threads.

Enjoy the games!
