This is Glinda, the Good Witch. She is powerful and beautiful and wise. At the end of The Wizard of Oz, all the other major magic workers in Oz have been eliminated, making Glinda the most powerful person in Oz. Which is a good thing, because she is beautiful and wise. Did I mention Glinda’s magic book? It records everything that happens, everywhere. And trust me, she checks it. Why, it is recording that you are reading this right now and that you are nodding your head in agreement about how beautiful and wise Glinda is. As a reminder she is also very powerful and all-knowing. Gosh, I’m glad there is a good witch like Glinda in the world!
