Freeways are a Canadian band playing what accounts to NWOBHM cut with April Wine. My Pen! saw them in Dresden a few months ago and met the lead singer and songwriter, Jakob, an incredibly nice dude, before the show. I’d been into the band before that concert, but their music’s further grown on me in the months subsequent. Maybe you’ll like it, too.
