Time for the Best Simpsons Song Tournament to begin! In this first round, the 32 highest voted songs from our nomination thread will go head to head … though, looking back on those nominations, I see that none of us remembered to mention “When I Was Seventeen”.

Truly, we have failed.

One note before we begin: to simplify proceedings I’ve decided to treat the musicals Oh, Streetcar! and Stop the Planet of the Apes, I Want to Get Off as being one song each, rather than trying to break them down into individual songs.
