Those of you who’d like to post future Creative Endeavors Threads post your request in the comments below. Hey, Kevzero here, I’m an amateur photographer based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I mostly take wildlife photos, but have been recently taking pictures of many other things. This week: Piping Plovers! Beginning in mid-Spring, Piping Plovers will migrate to the beaches of Cape Cod. These cute little shorebirds are considered a “Vulnerable” species according the Endangered Species Act, so all across the Cape sections of beaches are blocked off so they can nest. Although their numbers have greatly increased in recent years, they still need protection due to all sorts of habitat destruction. In the next few week Piping Plover chicks will begin to hatch.
