In response to the harsh criticism levied by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the House GOP is now considering inviting him to speak on the floor of the Senate. Netanyahu already addressed the Senate Republicans virtually at a lunch on Wednesday. It’s been brought up by several members and is seen as a way to show support for Israel.
This is not the first time Bibi has addressed Congress. Recall that in 2015, Republicans invited Netanyahu to speak in a special joint-session of Congress without first informing President Obama or his cabinet. Netanyahu’s goal, at that time, was to convince the US to torpedo the Iranian Nuclear deal. His wish would of course be granted in time by the Trump Administration, but the pattern’s clear: Bibi comes by to tell the US what he thinks Israel needs from them.
Netanyahu’s fee-fee’s got hurt when Schumer finally finally levied legitimate criticism against his genocidal rampage and the Republicans are too happy to assuage him. Childishness.

The Covid-19 pandemic continues even if the emergencies end, continue to vaccinate using the latest version of the FDA approved vaccines by Phizer and Moderna. Even if you are vaccinated, please continue to maintain social distancing measures, wear masks in public areas in accordance with CDC guidelines in regard to your own vaccination status.
Also, according to recent polls approximately 50% of adults are not planning on getting their Covid-19 boosters. So please get them and older adults should also look to be vaccinated for RSV! It’s been difficult to get adults onboard with getting the RSV shots as it is. Remember that getting these shots could potentially keep thousands of Americans who do not have to be there out of the ICU this winter.
