The Atargatis journeys north to the Arctic Ocean to study the elusive arctic mermaid. After many days of watching waves, you finally spotted a mermaid swimming with a pod of belugas. You note that the mermaid is roughly half the length of a beluga, around 7ft. Its tail is large and light cyan, helping the mermaid to camouflage amongst the icebergs. The social belugas enjoy the company of the mermaid, and it appears the mermaid can communicate with them.

After collecting the needed data, Dame Lucille Perk declares the course to be set for Lagos, Nigeria. The Ogun River has long been rumored to host freshwater mermaids, children of the mother water spirit, Yemọja.
On a deceptively peaceful night, an alluring song fills the air. Promises of parties, loose women, and booze ensnare a certain crew member. You watch as they stumble over to the railing, gripping the metal tight enough to bend. Unable to resist the song, the crew member jumps into the ocean, chasing after the enchanting melody.
The water churns violently as the sirens get ahold of their prey. Metal pieces litter the surface of the oil slick water. The slaughter is terrifying and vicious, but you watch on.
After what feels like a lifetime, the ocean calms down. The sirens leave, their bloodthirst satiated.
All that remains is a shiny metal ass.
Mrs. Queequeg has died. She was part of the Exploration Crew (Vanilla Town).

Rules
Players can only vote once per event.
Wolf Kill is individual.
Players are NOT allowed to edit comments or directly quote from private chats without permission. Failure to comply may result in a death.
In a result of a tie, RNG will decide between tied players.
Should a MERMAID (Must Extract Right Mermaid, Alas, I Died) or final wolf scenario occur, or in general, auto-kill will not come into effect until all living players have voted.
Please be respectful to all players. Attack arguments, not people. This is just a game, and we are all here to have a good time (unless we flip to the wrong page then we will die).
Daily Events
Events will be open for 6 hours at a time.
There is a Discord channel where I will post time alerts for Events.
Players may discuss the event in the game thread, NOT IN THE EVENTS DISCORD. Players can vote once per event, no page flipping. The page with the most votes will be selected. If there is a tie, the page will be selected by RNG. The Twilight write-up will reveal if a power was selected or a dud but will not reveal which faction was chosen. Players will receive a message after Twilight if they received an event power. Event powers can affect Day or Night.
