Pingu was a stop-motion children’s series that ran in Switzerland for four seasons from 1990 to 2000 and then in the UK for two more seasons between 2003 and 2006. The show saw a resurgence of popularity in the past few years due to the meme-ability of the main character’s catch phrase, “Noot noot!”
