30 Day Crime & Mystery Challenge Day 21: Copaganda

The month of June has us looking at a pretty exciting area that crosses into a lot of areas with crime and mystery challenges. There are some specific things throughout it but others that can spread across many mediums and styles to talk about.

Today, we’re digging into the world of copaganda. As Wikipedia puts it, it’s ‘a form of propaganda used to describe depictions of police in a positive (or excessively positive) light while obscuring negative qualities, most often through mass media, with the intent of swaying public opinion for the benefit of law enforcement.’

When did you become aware of the term and did it, or something else, make you view these kinds of properties differently? Is there a property that you find yourself drawn to even though you know how problematic it is? Are there good versions of copaganda?
