Some time ago, Stars wrote this about the film Fire of Love:

Watched the very well received & oscar nominated Fire of Love after ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ as a pick me up & boy was it great. The early scenes of the volcanic boulder (a volcanic bomb?) just tumbling down the side of the volcano were surprisingly breathtaking & better visually than most rushed visual effect shots nowadays. The film is primarily about a volcanologist couple: the Katia & Maurice Kraft who take thrill seeking to the extreme. It’s crazy how fearless they are. Fucking hell. The kind of crazy stunts & experiences they get up to! 

My immediate reaction: why am I not watching this movie right now?

This thread is one of the most reliable source of film recommendations over the years it’s been around. There a films I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise in the many comment threads.
