The Urban Sombrero is an idea devised by Elaine Baines after she becomes the acting president of the J. Peterman Catalogue. The Urban Sombrero was a flop that it lead to J. Peterman returning back to his company after his brief stay at Myanmar.

Although a flop, it was briefly used by a man who used it as a rain protector in New York City.
