The “Christmas Episode” of many shows is a common thing that goes back decades and decades with many of my generation remembering things like a Walton Christmas or some of the animated pieces from the day. But there are ones that go way back to Ozzie and Harriet, the Honeymooners, and more. It’s a good tradition that lets a lot of shows connect with the more commercial/secular aspect of the holiday while getting a little religion in there as well.
We also get some Christmas specials each year that are earworms that come back year after year, such as Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. We want to know what your favorite special is and what your favorite Christmas episode of a regular ongoing TV show is!
Bonus question: What holiday needs more animated specials?
