One of the more unnerving things that shows up in way too many horror films for some people’s tastes are clowns.

Goddamn clowns.

There are a lot of different types out there and when they populate a horror film of any stripe that can be disturbing. So we’re going to confront that fear today and talk about our favorite/scariest clown to appear in a horror property – or in real life if it’s happened to you!

The recent It films filled my cup with that fear but I still delight that my mother, decades after accidentally seeing Killer Klowns From Outer Space late one night, rails against just how much that thing unnerves her to this day when it somehow comes up in conversation. Usually seeded by me. Muahahah.
