• Terry, an aircraft maintainer from Ohio, works on the indicator panel. Terry entered the game as a one-day champ with winnings of $17,663.

MacKenzie took a page out of champ Terry’s book and put the game away with a huge $13,000 wager on DD2, moving into FJ with $26,400 vs. $10,800 for Terry and $4,600 for Tom.

DD1, $800 – HYDE – Anne Hyde was the mother of 2 British queens, Anne & this woman who married William III (Terry won $3,200 on a true DD.)

DD2, $800 – ART SUBJECTS – Anna McNeill was arranged in grey & black for a work by this artist, her son (MacKenzie won $13,000 from her score of $13,800 vs. $11,200 for Terry.)

DD3 – Not seen

FJ – FROM SCREEN TO STAGE – This 2007 movie came to Broadway with an all-female creative team including book & direction and with songs by pop star Sara Bareilles

Only MacKenzie was correct on FJ, but she didn’t bet anything, content to win with $26,400.

That’s before our time: No one knew the alliterative nickname of the Catskills resort area that was home to many Jewish entertainers was the Borscht Belt.

Shameless shilling: There was a category that was nothing more than a commercial for “Survivor”, including some excessively long clues. The time spent here, along with Alex’s statement and correction about how long the show has been on TV, helped result in a massive six leftovers in DJ.
