Late at night, the enigmatic woman who never divulged her name wandered the halls. She could be heard muttering to herself:

Player: “Cordelia is gone, so I can’t promote her to dark flier. I’m going to have to reclass someone else so we can have someone with galeforce…”

Lost in thought walking down a hallway, she suddenly noticed a hooded figure approach her, drawing a dagger from a sheath. Panicked, she ran in the other direction, only to see another figure at the end of the hall approaching her.

Player: “I’ve had some really bad luck this time around. There’s only one thing I can do at a time like this. L+R+START+SELECT!”

And in a sudden flash, she disappeared.

The Wasp (Player) has disappeared into a new save file. They were a Shepherd (Vanilla Town)

Elsewhere in the castle, another figure hurried down the hall. They were being watched today, they knew it. They had to get out fast…

And then a bolt of dark magic struck them. Their muscles began to seize up. And then they started to move again automatically. They thought to themselves to stay still, but they no longer controlled their own movements.

A robed figure stepped out from the shadows and smiled.

“Yes. This world’s fate has been sealed. It is written.”

Later, shortly before dawn, The Gatekeeper was making his rounds on the walls of the castle, when he noticed someone else skulking about the walls. He was ready for this, he spent years of his life guarding things. He even learned some magic as an ace in the hole should he ever be set upon by spies.

Gatekeeper: “Identify yourself at once!”
Hooded Figure: “I am the wings of despair. I am the breath of ruin. I am the Fell Dragon, Grima.”

The Shepherds awoke to a human scream cut short by a draconic roar. But all they could find in the area was a charred, unreadable book.

MSD (The Friendly Gatekeeper) has died. They were the Inquisitive Mage (Town Cop)

Anna: Whoever did this, we need to find them and kill them. Now.

Rules:
During the day, players will attempt to determine the scum among them. The player with the most votes when twilight is called will be killed, and their role revealed. If a majority of players vote for a single player, then the day will automatically end upon the majority vote being cast. In the case of a tie, the almighty random number god will determine who dies between the players with the most votes. During the night, the Wolf Roleblocker will act, then the Town Jailkeeper, followed by the kills (all happen concurrently) followed by the remaining night role actions. At the start of the next day, player deaths will be announced, and the dead will have their roles revealed. Roleplaying is encouraged, but not required. You will be required to make some game relevant posts per day, inactive players will be replaced, or if the mod is unable to find a replacement, killed by the mod scoring an unlucky critical hit.
