Morning Politocades!
The House voted to send the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate yesterday. While I think we can certainly say that they could’ve added some more. War crimes among the most recent, I would imagine. Ah well, Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Justice should do just fine. Whatever happens in the trial, Trump’s impeached for life.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has assigned seven House managers for the impeachment trial. House Representatives Jason Crow (D-CO), Val Demings (D-FL), Sylvia Garcia (D-TX.), Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Zoe Lofgren (D-CA.), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler
and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff will form the HEAD
Given the new details being released by the House obtained from Lev Parnas, Trump and his Republican enablers are running out of ways to lie about Trump’s guilt. In a new interview, Parnas said that “Trump knew exactly what was going on”. New details, including a letter requesting Rudy Giuliani speak to President Zelensky on behalf of Trump “with his knowledge and consent”.

Weirder still, are the texts between Parnas and Congressional “hopeful” and landscaping business owner Rob Hyde detailing their attempts to track Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch. Boy, who’d have thought the Ukraine scandal would somehow metastasize into stalking and harassment of a U.S. ambassador by a Republican candidate for congress in Connecticut?
Meanwhile, hoping to avoid a repeat of Charlottesville, Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia temporarily banned weapons and from the State Capitol and declared a State of Emergency in anticipation of a “Guns Rights” Rally that is eliciting “serious threats”.

Hmm, in other news, well-known attention seeker and Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti has been arrested while attending a disciplinary hearing after the State Bar had accused him of scamming a client; the very thing he was out on bond for in the first place. The judge is saying that he will be ‘behind bars for the foreseeable future’.

‘Memba when serious people on the TeeVee were thinking he should run for President? I memba.
Finally, the Virgin Islands has opened a civil lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein’s estate and six related entities, detailing an “expansive scheme of human trafficking and sexual abuse” as late as 2018, allegations which, quite frankly, I really have no desire to recapitulate here. I will link the article below.
