This Night Thread is dedicated to the song “Golden Boy” by the Mountain Goats, an early B-side about how you should try to be a good person so you can go to heaven and eat the Singaporean brand of peanuts known as Golden Boy. It’s an utterly transcendent song, and I’m not saying this as a joke or any sort of ironic misdirection. It’s just utterly wonderful. You owe it to yourself to listen to it.
