Morning Politocadoes!

Those in the US are celebrating the Fourth of July like a bunch of Yankee Doodle Dandies. Barbeques, fireworks, uh tanks apparently? Fortunately, certain bloated celebrations of egotistic excess that borders on fascism being held on the National Mall may well fall prey to that other Fourth of July tradition; rain, lots and lots rain. We can only hope.

To be honest, this even more than most years, I’m not feeling particularly patriotic. Nevertheless, the US does a great job of selling  the idea of America so, for the purposes of this thread, I’m including some Fourth of July related things for perusal.
