Are you able to travel to Boston, Massachusetts? Do you like pizza? Are you willing to pay a little money for it?
No, there are no new updates. I just felt like reposting this, even though the other dead thread has been pinned for a month.
There is going to be a pizza festival at Boston’s City Hall Plaza on the 13th of July between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Yeah, I know; that’s a month away, but apparently, tickets sell go fast or something. A couple of Avocado members had expressed interest in doing this, neither of whom were able to attend the previous meetup.
Here is where you can get tickets and look up more information. Tickets cost $15, not including food or drink…unless you get an all you can eat pass between 11:00 and 12:00 for $50. So, yeah, there will be money spent.
And here is a bird’s eye view of City Hall Plaza.
As you can see, there is a parking garage nearby and there is a Government Center Green Line trolley-train station right there.
While I have passed by City Hall Plaza a lot, I have not actually been there for…maybe almost two decades. So, I am not sure if this event will be genuinely ADA-compliant or whether there will be a place for us to congregate if we do not all show up at the same time. inndeeeeeeeed has been to these things, so he may know more, though it is uncertain whether he will be able to come this time.
In any case, if we want to do this, then we may want to think of a general time to show up…unless we think that we can just stay there for eight or nine hours.
There is also the option of doing this on Sunday the 14th, but I am personally partial to Saturday.
So, that’s it.
