The big summer event over at Marvel Comics this year is The War of the Realms.

The Dark Elf King Malekith has laid waste to Nine Realms located on the World Tree.

The only realm left standing is Midgard.

As Malekith’s forces arrive in New York City, it will take the combined might of Thor, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jane Foster, and the Avengers to protect their realm from being conquered.

The War of the Realms is a six issue miniseries but there are also some tie ins featuring Squirrel Girl, the Fantastic Four, and  Uncanny X-men, to name a few.

War of the Realms 1 -3 are now available from your local comic store and online via Comixology.
