So the way it goes is you describe a part of a song by a notable part that isn’t music or lyrics/melody. For example:
- A specific sound or noise which is a key part of the song.
- A spoken part that isn’t really part of the lyrics.
Example 1: (paper ripping), (coins dropping), (cash register)
Hmm, that kind of sounds like Pink Floyd’s “Money”.
Example 2: “Good heavens Miss Sakamoto, you’re beautiful!”
That’s Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me with Science”
If you identify a song based on #2 you will receive 1.5 upvotes because it’s a bit easier. If you identify a song based on #1 you will receive 10 million upvotes and a lifetime supply of GIF buttons. Disputes on the definition of “non-musical” will be settled by armed combat at a time, date, and venue TBD.
