The ballot is accessible here: https://fangoria.com/pages/chainsaw-award
One of the pre-eminent sources of horror coverage in the United States is back after a period of rocky performance and struggle. With the return of Fangoria Magazine comes the return of its Chainsaw Awards for the best in horror cinema, which you can vote in until January 29th, 11:59 PM CST. The Chainsaws have been designed to cover as varied and broad a spectrum of quality horror as possible, from the biggest blockbuster like David Gordon Green’s Halloween to the most unknown foreign releases. As a passionate devotee of horror as an artform, I’m creating this discussion thread for the year in horror generally, for the Chainsaw Awards themselves, but most importantly, for spreading awareness of this wonderful event and the many wonderful works you might have heard of, to all of you, my fellow horror lovers on the Avocado.
