With Bumblebee out right now, I thought it would be good to showcase the last time a Transformers movie was any good with 1986’s Transformers: The Movie.

Specifically, one scene: Starscream’s coronation. It is just a wonderful scene, mainly because of Starscream’s outfit:

Their original leader has (ostensibly) died and yet Starscream felt the need for the Decepticons to craft a little cape and crown for him. God, Starscream is the best. And then Galvatron (the reborn Megatron) comes and interrupts it with one of the best lines in the film:

And then he kills Starscream and crushes his little pimp crown!!

The whole scene is memorable and super quotable.
