In the U.S. this is Labor Day weekend, the unofficial end of the summer and your last chance to wear white shoes for a while. Are you doing anything special to mark the holiday? If you’re not in the U.S. I do hope you’re eating well too!

I’m spending part of it at my family’s place in central Wisconsin, it’s on a lake with mostly other seasonal people. I hope to be back home late Sunday night as an old (in both senses of the word) friend of mine who moved away is back in town so I want to spend some time catching up Monday. All activities will  involve food so I’ll do my best to report on the anticipated feasting.
