My 9th-favorite album ever is Homogenic by Björk. It’s her masterpiece, combining electronic rhythms with classical strings to create a sound both aged and futuristic (like the phenomenal cover art). It’s also a grand showcase for Björk’s powerful and unique voice. It’s an emotionally massive album, and it sells those emotions with a combination of raw passion and technical perfection.
