Frosstbyte and Edgar Allan Hoe suggested we have a Southern California Avocado meetup in late July or early August. This thread is for planning that meetup.
Where? The previous two meetups were in the L.A. Basin, so this time we were thinking of meeting in the San Fernando Valley. Another possibility is the San Gabriel Valley, because who can tell valleys apart?
When? On a weekend between the 21st of July and the 5th of August.
What? That’s up to you guys. Previous meetups were held at bars that had large selections of food and drink, and that seemed to work pretty well. But we could switch it up and hit up a dessert place. Or we could be more adventurous and go hiking. It’s all good to me.
Who? Any Avocadoan who wants to show up. Due to location, this meetup is obviously tailored towards Guacs in the L.A. area, but if you want to fly in from Oklahoma, nobody’s going to stop you.
How? By road vehicle. You could drive, take a taxi or ride-share, or avail yourself of L.A.’s public transit options.
Why? Because you spend too much time on the Internet.
Okay, let’s plan this.
