Hey, Miss Vanjies!
Last week’s Last Ball on Earth saw us bid farewell to Dusty Ray Bottoms, the second New York queen to sashay away this season, whose warm personality and distinctive makeup style made her an early fan favourite among many members of the audience. Sadly, she wasn’t able to win a lip-sync for her life against Monét X Change, condragulations to whom are well-deserved for an instant-classic performance to Nicki Minaj’s “Pound the Alarm”.
(Dusty’s super-cute out of drag, too. Just saying.)
Condragulations as well to Aquaria, the winner of last week’s ball, who wowed the judges with three cohesive and imaginative looks. My favourite might have been her pastel faux-fur look inspired by Mugler’s Fall/Winter 1991 collection; it’s the featured image for this thread.
This week, the queens get to flex their improv muscles as guests on Drag Race’s version of the Jerry Springer Show. Will the comediennes in the cast knock it out of the park? Will some queens demonstrate hidden talents for comedy? Let’s find out!
Remember to stay around for Untucked after the show, which has once again become appointment television thanks to this season’s lively cast.
As always, this thread is for discussing the show, but not everyone is able to watch it at the same time. Therefore, please use discretion when discussing specific spoilery details of the episode and Untucked (challenge details, queens’ performance, top/bottom placements, etc.) Having everything spoiler tagged isn’t necessarily conducive to a proper discussion, so use your judgment. If you want to discuss the season 10 queens outside of their performance on the show, feel free to do so without spoiler tags.
In the words of Tatianna: thank yew, and enjoy tonight’s episode!
