Under the Radar Streaming Movie Recommendations 3: Stream Warriors

About a year ago, I made this thread.

About seven months ago, I made it again.

And now I am making it again a second time…so I am making it a third time, really.

So, we all know that video streaming services have a lot of garbage on them. Worse, they recommend said garbage to us for reasons that make little sense. How about we try to bypass that on our own by recommending streaming movies to the Avocado? I have some to recommend. Yes, this will take some effort to browse through a service’s movie catalog, but sometimes sacrifices must be made.

Now, with that said, I would have to lay down some guidelines.

1) You have to have actually watched the movie and genuinely enjoyed it. It does not have to be a high quality movie; in fact it can be complete garbage. But you have to have enjoyed it for whatever reason. So, don’t include Fateful Findings unless you truly actually liked it.

2) It has to currently be available on a legal streaming service in your country and legitimately free for those who use the service. I mean, yeah, the streaming service may not be free, but the movie itself is. So a theatrically released movie that some random person uploaded to Youtube does not count. I am not including movies that require an extra trial subscription, but you can if you find something.

3) I repeat: CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Things that you saw last week could theoretically no longer be available as I found out while updating my list, so please check even if you are sure that it is there. Providing links as proof would be nice, though not required.

4) Try to stick with movies that have not been discussed to death. So, they can be movies that few people have seen, movies that got some talk that has kind of died down, movies that do not really get brought up in pop culture discussions or the Avocado specifically. What this guideline really means can vary from person to person, so it does not really matter if I personally do not feel like your pick counts as under the radar. Please, however, no Mulholland Dr. or Hot Fuzz. I liked those movies too, that is not what I am trying to do here.

Even though our tastes in movies may vary wildly, you might find something that you end up enjoying on other people’s lists. Some of the additions to my own list were due to my checking out other people’s recommendations in my previous threads.

So…here we go…
