Late again this week; I’m in the middle of moving across town, and the boxing stuff up never ends. But we still have some time to talk about the best movies from 1980 that were overlooked by the Academy! Here are your top-five vote-getters from last week’s nomination round. Upvote as many choices here as you think are deserving; the top vote-getter in each category will get a gold statue of Spike Lee.

Please don’t suggest more films, as that was covered in the nomination round last week. Next week winners will be announced, but we won’t continue on to 1979. The following week (1/24) will be the 2017 Snubbies nomination round, 1/31 will the 2018 voting, and then in February we’ll announce the winners and start in on the Auteur Decade!
