You know how it goes: everyone loves a new movie, or book, or TV show, and you mean to get to it and join in the conversation, but things come up and you just…don’t.
It happens to all of us, but luckily it’s easier than ever to catch up on things you missed. In this thread, tell us about pre-2017 pop culture that you finally experienced–and hopefully enjoyed–this year, from movies and TV shows to video games and books. If it wasn’t from 2017, it’s fair game.
I know that it can be kind of hard to figure out what to say about video games in this age of remasters, re-releases, and ports. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, for instance, had lots of new stuff, and not just the content that didn’t officially make it to the US years ago. But the core game itself is still an old PS2 game. For our purposes, feel free to count things like that, as well as any director’s cuts of films that may have been released.
